Turns out you learn something new everyday:
m29 Competition

And I thought my set actually made in France (not Thailand) was cool. Too bad these tires don’t exist. Maybe oneday? I’ve heard rumors IRC bought the molds.

In other unrelated, but semi-exciting news, one of my favorite bathroom readers is being turned into a movie. I like snowboarding (and I’ll admit, skiers as well), and Squaw is the pinnacle of “extreme” skiing, maybe in the US, you can debate that if you want. Regardless, this sweet little book documents all the crazy lines and assigns point values for each. There is a hypothetical game, essentially where you ski/snowboard the lines and get points, plus bonus points for tricks, riding naked, scoring with employees, and so on. Kinda cool in theory, but even cooler now since the game is being made into a movie! $25k is on the line for the winner.

Its probably going to be crazy, so I’m excited to see the results. Big skiing and lots of silly antics. Sounds good, right?

from unofficialsquaw.com:

The Unofficial Game of G.N.A.R. is Underway!

It was quite the kick off to the Unofficial Game of G.N.A.R. this morning at the KT-22 loading dock. Competitors started to show up around 4:30 a.m. to get their 500 GNAR points for first chair. There was also some free Red Bulls (Give out 5 Red Bulls = 150 GNAR points), free breakfast (Cook breakfast with a camping stove in he KT line = 300 GNAR points), a massive JT Holmes pro call out ( yell, “Hey name, I can’t believe you’re a pro. I’m totally better then you!” = 50 GNAR points) and one naked Fingers line (Complete line butt naked. If jailed, you lose your points = 500 GNAR points).
